A Visit to a Favorite Park
Family Photos at Garfield Park
Who said you can’t ride your bike and have picnics during your family photo session? Certainly not me — I welcome it.
Walking from your home to your favorite local park will always be a great option for your family photos. This may be something you’ve done a thousand times, but somehow it magically always feels exciting + new. That’s what we did on this sweet fall day — I found myself on familiar trails and grassways with these three.
Garfield Park is a treasure found just south of Downtown Indianapolis. It’s known as the oldest park in the city and is made up with beautiful landscapes, a conservatory, and a sunken garden. It’s definitely worth checking out on your next free day or if you’re looking for a location for your upcoming family portraits.
As lovely as the gardens are I really adore that we stayed true to visiting their most frequented corners. Years from now when they look back at these images we created, they’ll fondly remember their many walks under the grove of trees where they would picnic and bike.
