Summer family photos can look like and actually be a darn good time!
Summer has always resonated as a nostalgic season for me; I immediately think back to the thrill of summer break + the freedom to be a kid all day instead of stuck in a routine of school and all that encompasses. Approaching this summer session with a snapshot style felt so right and in tune with the feelings of those warmer months.
We played with their backyard hose, some expired dubblefilm, my holga toy camera, and some standard 35mm film. All of these combined felt like the perfect mix of experimentation + joy to match the essence of summer.
